My parents want to take me, DH and DS1&2 on holiday.

Money (it has been said!) is not an issue as its a belated wedding present to us (we got married in October) - however, I would put a max cap on about 5k but would want for them to spend less.

Has anyone got any suggestions? Only place I do not want to go would be Egypt, as I have heard to many deli beli stories, and although I have been to dubai and loved it my dad would hate it there (I just know that).

All inclusive would be good too? Help me!!!!!!

PS - I like to relax on hols, nice weather is essential, as is a good kids club!!!

Either direct with hotel or someone like Simpson Travel.

Bandos Resort in the Maldives. We went with 18-month-old DS1 when I was 29 weeks preggers with DS2 and we had the loveliest time.

No threat of tropical disease, nasty stomach bugs etc

The loveliest staff you will find who seem to genuinely love children

A small kids' club that is free and perfectly adequate for a couple of hours

A fantastic spa that does the most amazing pregnancy massages (I had 3 in 2 weeks! And a pedicure and manicure... )

Very delicious food and lots of it if you go all-inclusive and at every meal (other than breakfast) there is a pasta station that cooks up pasta fresh and that is usually what the children would eat

Lovely big rooms! If you are going with your parents, you can ask for interconnecting villas and it's lovely! We had friends who we managed to get into the villa next to us for a week and the kids had such a great time running in and out in the morning!

We book through Thomson and got a great deal (it was August half-term and it came out £3,600 all inclusive for two weeks including direct flights as well though Thomson flights IMO is s*!). Enjoy!

Do you mean 4 adults and 2 children?

Also is the £5K for the whole party or just your families part of it 2 adults and 2 children?

We went to Mexico in May, fabulous weather and lovely resort. We moved hotel but the Iberostar Paraiso del Mar was fabulous.

You can swim with dolphins and go to an ecopark locally, there is of coursen Chichen Itza but it might be too hot/much for the kids.

Bandos is just gorgeous...

If you don't want to fly that far, I'd recommend Cyprus or one of the other Greek islands. I went when I was five months pregnant and it was wonderful. Treated like I was v important for being pregnant too which was lovely!
