living in Dehli for a year - anyone been there

hello i am in mid thirties and am a stay at home mum - 2 children 4.5 and 3 year old. my husband has been offered job in dehli india for 1 year. has anyone been there?

also as a backpacker. and like any other city in a developing country i imagine the expat expereince is very different from the loney planet one and even more vastly different from the actual local one. the expat expereince from one counrty to another can be very much the same unless the effort is made to get out the enclave! would check out expat websites if its your overseas posting
