Hi

We have a wedding in Bordeaux next August, my husband is best man. Our second child is due in April so we'll have a 3 yr old and a 4 month old.

At the moment we're not sure what's best way to travel - should we fly, should we take own car and spend time getting there???

Any suggestions on cheapest form of accomodation that will cater for our family? We usually go camping but not sure we can bear the thought of trying to cram everything into our car plus our tent is a big one so not very helpful for a couple of nights here and there.

It will be our only holiday next year and I'll be on maternity leave so money is a bit tight so I know you thrifty mums out there will have some pearls of wisdom!

Thanks

I'd drive in your position, with wedding clothes and baby paraphernalia to cart about. If you book ahead you should get a cheap crossing.

Are the bride and bridegroom not going to research accommodation for their guests? They should do!
