Cottage for 16 people

I'm trying to arrange a 2 or 3 night break for next New Year and am looking for a self-catering option, probably somewhere in Scotland. There will be 7 adults and 9 children, including 2 teeny infants ? has anyone come across a good company that rents cottages to groups of this size? I'd prefer if we were all in the same place, sharing a kitchen etc, but I would consider chalets too, I guess.

Thanks for any tips!

you can sometimes rent out YHA premises for larger groups if this is something you would consider?

Have you tried Rural Retreats? I worked for them many years ago, they have lovely cottages, some of which are this size.

Thanks display ? will have a look at youth hostels. Just tried Rural Retreats, TopSop ? they have nothing available for those dates, more than a year in advance!

Bigholidayhouse.com might help - not sure if they have scotland houses though. Also, Indpendent Cottages and Holiday Rentals have a fair selection.

Don't forget the Scottish Tourist Board either.
