Gran Canaria - with children

Has anyone got any suggestions of where to stay in Garn Canaria with a 4 yr old, 2 yr old and baby in February?

Ideally like to stay somewhere with stuff for the kids to do, pool, restaurant, but also nice for us parents. Not far from a beach too.

Also, am assuming weather will be warm (that is DH's only precursor!)

avoid porto rico in gran canaria as it is very hilly and loads of steps wherever you go. we did visist amadores which is about a ten/fifteen walk around a path on the cliff edge which was very nice although very small and much more expensive. the hotels (about three of four were all based around the breach. there isnt any shops or restaurants other on the beach front but it is a nice stroll (although it does have an incline at either end of the walkway)round to porto rico.
