January getaway

We have a 14 month old and would like a bit of sun but not go too far.This is our first holiday in five years so i would like to make the most of it. Does anyone have any ideas for a destination??

Maybe the Canaries as that will be nice and warm and not too far or maybe Egypt?

Whatever you do, don't fly with BA as they are threatening strike action of the Christmas/New Year period and I wouldn't take the risk

yes we were looking at the canaries but the weather today is 15 not particularly warm.Thanks for the advice re BA

Egypt would be much warmer.
We are in Saudi (almost next door!) and although today its a bit cooler (around 17) last week was warmer and we were in Dubai then at it was around 27.

We are supposed to be flying home (UK) with BA and its looking like we might not get home

Tunisia? We went about 15 years ago and loved it, not sure what it is like now though.
