we need a holiday. we've had every virus going this autumn plus a new baby so lots of change and lack of sleep! we want to go away in feb somewhere warm, relaxed and with a beach to do not very much - somewhere kids will have a good time and be welcomed. any suggestions?

I've just come back from Tenerife (see some of my reviews and rec. for nanny) Short flights and avail from local airports. Good resorts and some fab hotels. Be warned not cheap. Isnt Lanzarote windy?? I wouldnt be keen on going to Eygpt with baby far too doggy with the tummy.
Also with children you want to go somewhere with good medical, I ended up in A&E with baby who had a very dangerous temp. Places like the canaries have good healthcare and after that I wont risk going anywhere unusual.

Oh and to let you know, the weather here is great all year round.
We currently have between 24-29 degrees in the day (depending where you are on the island) and between 19-21 degrees at night so maybe just a light cardi or jacket needed.
