Hi Charlie - there's a caravan and camping park nearby at Cotton, Star Caravan and Camping Tel: 01538 702219. That's probably the closest one. Not stayed there but always looks busy when I pass.

Have a look for B&B's in Farley village which is where the main gate is. I know there is one right at the gate but can't remember the name. The other villages nearby are Alton itself, Cotton and Oakamoor. Nearest towns Leek, Cheadle and Ashbourne (which is lovely).

Leek tourist infomation will help Tel: 01538 483741
