Anyone use Tesco deals for holidays or flights

Anyone use Tesco 'deals' to redeem vouchers

against holidays flights or even (as I've just
discovered) Eurotunnell)?

Might be an option for us for travelling to

france next year. The vouchers are worth four

times as much when redemmed against holidays

etc. Looks like a better deal than using them

to get money off shopping

I used ours (converted to airmiles) to book a package holiday with Neilson last summer. Airmiles will redeem them against a range of package operators.

That's good to know. Thanks Jan. Think I'm going to convert them to airmiles, when next statement comes, and try build up enough to book a package holiday late next year, or early 2011.

i have used my loads of timed to go on the eurotunnel. works really well, if i don't have enough in vouchers then i can pay the remainder with cash/card

SomeGuy · 25/11/2009 23:36

Airmiles have a special offer at the moment, double miles, normally 60 for £2.50, now 120.

60 for £2.50 is not a good deal, but 120 for £2.50 is. It ends early next dear, if you have a lots of vouchers I would convert them all to airmiles. Best value is for flights to Paris, Amsterdam and Ireland from London, or flights within the UK from anywhere, but you can pay for package holidays and long-hauls as well

Well I converrted some to UK hotel vouchers (Marriott I think)and whenever I tried to bok there was no availability..Grrrr

However,kept "saving" and eventually had enough for me and DD to go to the Canaries at half term;

Excluding out "extras-alcohol,crispts,toast etc etc)the overall price appears to be exceptional-will update shortly.

Someguy, that's great news. We will definitly

convert to airmiles now. Will do it when the

next statement arrives in Februry. Looking at
the offer, I see it ends in March, so

hopefully
our next set of vouchers will arrive in time

to convert them.

Cheers

Should get vouchers now as 'extra bonus'

Ponders · 30/11/2009 22:56

We've used ours for Eurotunnel twice now, + RAC family membership which is fantastic value - full benefits for 5 adults (based at one address) in any car (ie even as a passenger) for £72 of vouchers

bellavita · 30/11/2009 22:59

A friend has used her vouchers towards holidays. We use ours for nice hotels and when the wine is on double up we use the vouchers then too.

I've used them to book Eurotunnel on several occasions. This year I've book Eurotunnel and a Siblu park for a week during the summer holidays I should have enough for Futuroscope theme park tickets, we plan to go there as a stop over.
