Hello
I'm planning on braving London for the first time with my DD (age 3) & DH

We have one day, probably the 28th Nov what are the best attractions for a little one of this age?

Also although a bit early any suggestions about the best Santa/Christmas things to do in London?

Thanks in advance (hopefully)

The London Aquarium is great fun - plenty to keep you all entertained and right next to the London Eye if you fancied going on that as well.

Somerset House also normally have an ice rink and that's just over the river too.

Whatever you end up doing, have a lovely day

I'd second the Aquarium, though it's very expensive. The South Bank in general is quite good and child friendly - lots of space to run around and lots of street performers and you could balance the pricey aquarium with places like the Royal Festival Hall which is free and often has child-friendly stuff going on in the foyer. The Tate Modern is quite good for a run around too. For a Christmas treat you could try and get tickets for the Gruffalo or Room on the Broom which are both on at the theatre at the moment. Don't know about Santas but what about the christmas lights on the way home? or the enormous tree in Trafalgar Square if it's up then?

We're off tomorrow with DS (2.6). We're spending the morning in the Science Museum, lunch in the cafe there, then to Hyde Park for the Winter Wonderland and on to Hamleys for probably a ridiculous amount of time!
