USA holiday next April

Thinking of going to America next April for a 2 week (ish) holiday with DH and twins (will be nearly 4) Possibly incorporating a bit of Disneyworld type stuff, but not wanting to spend a fortnight there. DH and I have been to Boston, and DH has done San Francisco, but that's where our experience ends. Any advice or suggestions? Thank you!

I suppose it depends if you want to do Disney in Florida or LA as that could determine where you spend the rest of your holiday. Travelling times can be huge in America so you'd need to be prepared if you want to do say Florida and then perhaps New York which I think is around 5 hours flying time.

How about a 2 centre holiday? A week in Orlando and a week in Miami or Tampa/St Petes?

We have family in tampa, we love it there busch gardens is now one of the best theame parks in florida and they have a water park too + you are only a short drive form clearwater beach or caladasi island.

Don't do Disney LA, it's not nearly as good as Orlando. We also have relatives in Tampa & would recommend Busch Gardens. I also loved Cypress Gardens when our DSs were pre-school age. There was a lovely "mini fun fair" there with everything just their size & a relaxing, leisurely boat trip. The "Southern Belles" (young women dressed like Scarlett O'Hara) are not exactly PC tho'.

i think Disneyland in California is great fun. Yes, Orlando is bigger and more elaborate but there is so much to do that it can be overwhelming. Also, the distances can be huge. The California Disney is smaller and more intimate and not nearly so spread out.

Personally, with such little ones, I think you'd be fine with Anaheim if that is how your routing works out.
