Did you find anything? All I can think of is a Cinema, not really 2 yr old friendly.

Nice park with swings, lake etc about 5 mins walk from shopping centre. Leave Festival Place via Vue cinema exit (other end of the shopping centre to train station) and it's a few minutes further. Park runs next to main road but lower down.

Also, soft play area/creche (I think, never used it) in the Sports Centre which is part of the shopping centre. Lots of the restaurants are very child friendly as so many families. They are on the way to the park too! I think one of them may also have a soft play area in it.

Alternatively, leisure complex, a short bus ride away (dedicated buses) has a bowling centre. Depends on your 2-year old. Never thought of bowling but friend took her and my (just) 3 year olds and they loved it! They have something for the little ones to roll their balls down (i.e. they don't have to bowl!).
