Are they any good for under 2s?

Hmm... not really. The under-2 area is usually pretty spartan - okay if you just want somewhere safe to play while you grab a coffee with a friend or if you have an older child to entertain as well, but I wouldn't bother making the effort on my own with just my youngest (13mths).

Shop around though, we have a Toy City near us which although isn't fab, does have a larger general play area which littlies can use. Again, wouldn't bother going just for that, but if I'm climbing the walls and can persuade a mummy friend to go with me then it's not bad for an hour or so.

IMO, Wacky Warehouses are awful full stop, but particularly for the under 3s. There's usually a few things for them but not much - a few balls, a swing - and if your under 2 is brave there's a bridge and a slide, but in my experience, the toddler's part is rarely only used by toddlers, and is no use for children under 3.

I take DD 18 months to Space Adventure (in Swindon) not sure if they are national though. they are really good for unders 2 - DD started to walk for 1st time there..

i really like wackey warehouse, jess is only 11 months old but she will paly for an hour or more in the balls with eithr me or dh with her. loves the little soft slide too. not good if you want to sit back and relax, but if you are willing to sit and play with them, its great!

well I'm glad you bumped the thread up englishbeauty cos I found it useful! I think there's one in Mitcham and I had been thinking of asking about it.

Look out for their Summer Passport - £10 for 10 plays instead of £3 per play.
