Oh Chichester is lavely. Depends what kind of a gal you are. There's the theatre, there's lots of restaurants...haven't been to bars but there must be loads. There's a massive cinema/bowling alley type place I seem to remember...shopping's good. Sorry not much help but just didn't want you to disappear off the bottom of active!

i was leaning towards treating ourselves to a nice pint in a quaint pub, after an afternoon of beasting DH round the shops - owt i should pay particular attention to?

I'm no good on pubs but the shops are nice, there's House of Fraser, White Stuff, Fat Face, lots of poshlady shoe shops, that kind of thing. Tea rooms with big cakes and the usual chains all housed in v pretty buildings. Oh you're going to have a lovely time! I'd LOVE a nice pint in a quaint pub. And a big fat meal to go with it (sorry, am pg. Although actually I'd still be on for the big fat meal if I wasn't)

grin · 23/10/2009 15:07

I know! A film.....a distant memory this end...

EdgarAllenPoo · 23/10/2009 15:18

due to financial constraints we've been on cheap cider so long I can barely look at the stuff. meals out have been thin on the ground too...am ttc so will soon be facing th food/booze/life constrainst ofpg too (hopefullly) - Its not fun is it?

oh many shops to flog Dh round. he's going to earn that pint..

Okay I have to stop now out of sheer envy. Will you post after your weekend and let me know how it went? And all the best with the TTC by the way!

EdgarAllenPoo · 23/10/2009 15:37

will do - who'd have thought being able to do normal things without kids would be so exciting?
