M4, M5, A30
no idea if it is best or not

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 15/10/2009 17:54

Yep, M4, M5, A30.

Is there any other way?

Watch out for the speed cameras on the later bits of the M4 though (past Newbury)

Definitely M4,M5,A30 - avoid the A303 on Fridays at all costs!!!

Although, the roadworks on the bridge at Bristol are a bit nasty at the moment. But providing you hit Bristol before about 4.00pm you should be fine!

Excellent,thank you

PS: Ditto the speed cameras on the M4 and there are some average speed cameras in the roadworks on the M5 that are really nasty!

Yep, M4, M5, A30 is the only answer if you don't mind a dull motorway drive. The A303 is fine if you don't mind it taking 6 hours to get there, sometimes we do it though just because the views are nicer.

Love Mawgan Porth!
