Things to do around Prestatyn when it's raining???

I'm off to Prestatyn with dh, dd (6) and ds (4) for a week at half term. If the weather's dry we'll be on the beach but if it's wet (as seems likely) can anyone recommend any indoor family entertainment? (Other than playing snap, etc)

OK, so there's nothing to do there when it's raining?

We've got the same problem, we're off to Newquay!

Well, you could try Rhyl, further along the coast. There is an indoor pool thing - can't think what it's called at the moment but family thing, lots of slides, waves etc, I think. Never went myself since don't swim but it's on the promenade so everyone will know it. Also, loads of amusement arcades of course.

Better still, get a bus to Llandudno. Get a tram/cable car to the top of the Great Orme.

Or go to Conway for the castle.

Buses everywhere - loads of old people.

It's 10 years since I left North Wales so things will have changed but get in tough with North Wales/Welsh Tourist Board.

The Sun Centre! That was the name of the place in Rhyl. Anyway, found this link Visit Wales

Sorry, RR, don't know Newquay

There's a Pontins in Prestatyn; I don't know if you could go there for a day visit. And by the way, be careful of the jelly fish on the beach - there were LOADS last time we went.
