Has anybody been to Las Vegas?

We are going in November to a friends wedding so we are wondering what is a "must see" show? or places to visit?

Do the Stratosphere at night. The view is magnificent (and the rides at night are something else)

Shopping - there are a couple of outlet malls near to the strip where good bargains can be had. When I was last there the exchange rate was really good and I bought loads of things at a really low price. But it will depend on the exchange rate when you go.

Oooooh I loved Vegas - the cheesiness of it all.

Defo the Bellagio fountain - the Bellagio in general is a fantastic hotel to spend a few hours in. They had gorgeous exhibitions and displays when we were there (including a quite magical, Alice-in-Wonderland garden with butterflies everywhere).

We saw Elton John who was fab and Ka which was ok, but I slept through most of it, I was so jet-lagged. . I heard Cirque du Soleil's O (again at the Bellagio) is great.

And we had a f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c meal at the SW Steakhouse at the Wynn Hotel.

Hotels worth wandering around in are:
Venetian - there is a small canal inside the hotel where you can take a gondola ride - the ceiling is painted like the sky so it feels like you are actually outside.

Paris - again inside of the hotel is supposed to be like Paris - boulangeries etc.

Luxor - I never made it to the Luxor, but it's pyramid shape and supposed to be worth seeing.

Bellagio - see the fountains

Caesar's Palace

We had the most blissful 2 nights at the Venetian, all suite hotel, its magic and sumptious and I don`t think expensive if you compare it for value to the Uk! We had a massive room which slept 5 over looking the strip, and we got tickets to Phantom of the Opera in its own theatre, just magic, would do it all over again
