holiday in Swanage, and swimming

We're going to Swanage for a week's holiday at the end of June. DD is 3yo and Ds is 3mo. Top tips for things to do please!

Also, we want to take them swimming - first time for ds. Dd will try the sea if its warm enough but where are the public swimming pools - I've looked on the net and not found anything.

Hi fruitful, hope this site is of use to you, it mentions the swimming facilities under Water Sports. I went to many many holidays in Swanage but never went near a pool, tbh!

Swanage Railway is a must, the beaches are safe but not as much sand as there used to be, Studland beach is nearby (beware the nudists on part of the beach) ... and I am trying to wrack my brains to think of what else we used to do, hopefully the website will throw up some ideas. Have a lovely time.
