Caravan or Chalet in Cornwall or Devon - recommendations?

Im looking for a holiday park of some description to go to for the October half term.

Dont mind if its in a caravan or chalet (choosing these as assuming this is the cheapest option), anywhere nice in Devon or Cornwall but within walking distance of the beach (and ideally a nice pub!)...

Child friendly but not too "butlin-ish" if you know what i mean - no offence to any butlins regulars.

holiday parks, especially if in Devon, are on a par with Butlins though aren't they?

oh no... are they? i've never been to a caravan park before.

oh well, delete the not too butlin-ish bit then, I can improve my karaoke in the clubhouse , because I doubt I can afford to go anywhere else...
