Going away for Christmas? Where would you suggest?

Has anyone been anywhere for Christmas? Where would you suggest? DS1 = .25 yrs, DS2 = 14 months. Husband wants half board. We all want sunshine, kids clubs, things to do, beach, pool. Don't mind paying more if it's truly lovely.

Not suitable for kids, but we are off on a Nile cruise this year, but you could do a beach resort in Egypt.

We have also done the Maldives, Singapore and Figi at Christmas, which were all brill, but again not with kids.

We went to Israel one Christmas but we were a little disappointed as they didn't 'do' Christmas and Christmas day was a bit odd.

A few years ago we went to the Maldives (Bandos Island Resort) and it was fab. There was a really good program of events for kids and adults and it was really very festive. Best of all, santa arrived late on Christmas eve. Everyone was waiting for him by the jetty, assuming he'd arrive by boat from the main island but he parasailed in. The look on the kids faces was brilliant. Apparently one year he arrived by scuba diving to the beach although I imagine someone must have carried his sack!
