Cheap flight to Portugal in the summer holidays, any idea's

Decided to visit inlaws in Portugal for a week in the sumemr holidays, we are not bothered really aboiut which week, I looked on a few websites and flights were about £230 per person, which I think is high as know some people pay a lot less, just wondered if anyone knew a good website, best days and times to go to make it cheaper.
