Ideally free sailing?

I know I am being demanding - but I am desparate

PestoSurfMonster · 15/09/2009 10:41

Not the Canaries, but have had very good reports of sailing with

Neilson holidays

Croatia is no good in December (at least I don't think so)

Done Neilson the last 3 years - just wanted something different

Maybe you need Hector from here. I can get what they are trying to say but I am a bit & at the opening statement.

Katymac · 16/09/2009 20:20

What sort of sailing? Only reason I ask is that it can get really windy, or perhaps that's what you want. My only experience is sailing on a 55ft yacht between the various Canary Islands in Feb and it was really tough sailing. The islands seem to create some sort of wind funnel effect!

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 18/09/2009 17:28

No experience of sailing there, but I remember watching with my heart in my mouth as DH battled the waves on a hired windsurfer off Fuerteventura.

I really thought I'd be taking DS1 home alone!

I've gone off the idea......DD is only 11 & sailing Toppers

Anyway we are off to Jamaica after all
