Oh blimey!

My daughter has a school trip in just over a month.
None of us have a passport. Is it possible to get her one in that time?

Thanks.

I think you can do a speeded up one by paying more. Or going in person.

It says it takes 2-3 weeks, I'm in the same position as you but I've decided to fast track mine (well, for my kids). It costs a total fortune £96 - but for me, it's worth it for the guarantee that you get it in time. If I did it the normal way, I'd stress the whole time.

Is that £96 per passport?

Hi bumface,

www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Passports/Applyingforaneworrenewedchildpassport/DG_174107

The above website gives a lot of information re children's passports. As she is 12 too she will need to sign the form.

BTW the premium service (think that is same day) is not available for child passports. The £96 (per passport) fee you previously quoted was to receive the passport in one week service.
