Somewhere lovely within about 50 miles of Leeds? (hotel)

I'm looking for somewhere nice for a night away about 50miles ish radius of Leeds - fab hotel and really fab food. Was thinking of Crab Manor, but other suggestions welcome.

Would go further for somewhere really nice!

the peacock at rowsley is very nice (even nicer than crab manor, honest!)

We stayed at the Frenchgate Hotel www.thefrenchgate.co.uk in Richmond N. Yorks recently and it was lovely, great food and lovely rooms.

The Star Inn at Harome, near Helmsley would be my recommendation:

thanks for the suggestions ChilliMoose, I've been to a wedding there before so want somewhere different, but good suggestion.
