We are trying to find some reasonable flights next easter to Adelaide.
We need to be there on the 17th April for a wedding and dc school holidays are 31st March to 19th April so we hope to get 3 weeks using as much of that time as possible.

Can anyone help direct me to any reasonable priced flights and what do i need to do r/e stopping over etc

dc's will be 2 , 5 and 8 so thinking at least an overnight stay on route would be better ?

Ring up

travelmood

and

travelbag

for quotes and suggestions

(I used travelmood last time I travelled down under and they arranged all the internal flights and accomodation for the first night too)

I used to work for Travelbag and they are very good (although now owned by ebookers).

Try Trailfinders/TRavelbag/Flightcentre/ebookers, all these have better access to cheaper flkights than anyone else, and it rarely pays to book direct with the airline.

If its customer service youre after try Malaysian or Singapore Airlines (stop in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore). Or if price is the driving factor you can often find good deals with people like JAL (no stop on outbound but Tokyo stopover on way back).

STA were very good and got us fab rates with Cathay Pacific and a 3-night stop in Hong Kong; internal flights with Qantas. Will use them again. Don't have to be a student.

I found Singapore and JAL great travelling with DD. Plus on our return flight from Tokyo to London on JAL we were upgraded to business class - I loved it!! The service was flawless.

Stopovers in Tokyo or Singapore are fab too. When we moved back to Oz we had a 3 day stopover in Singapore which was lovely and relaxing.

Checkout the airlines websites first.

I booked an Etihad flight through Trailfinders.

It's a good idea at the moment to book through travel agents because you will get money back or alternative flights if the airline go under
