first driving experiences

Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone can recommend a 'first driving experience' day for a 16 year old. It's for my husband's DD's 16th birthday prezi. Have seen lots advertised on the internet but would like some personal recommendations really. The North West preferably...thanks!

my dd did a mini driving experience ( for 12 - 16 yr olds). Well she has done it twice now and she loved it. It was at rockingham raceway - not in the north east unfortunately. just wanted to say that its a great idea for a teen gift.
