Hotel needed for bank holiday weekend near Llanelli - anyone know of anywhere?

Dh is working this weekend near to Llanelli and I wondered if anyone knew of a nice hotel for me, DH and dc (7 and 5). I've been trawling the internet and drawn a blank - doesn't help it's a bank holiday!

Which side of Llanelli? Swansea or Carmathen?

Carmarthen - well Kidwelly to be exact.

swansea might be the wrong side but its only about 35/40 mins away.try the marriott(smallish pool but all mod cons especially if you can get a marina view)and there is plenty to do- good play areas and cafes/ice cream parlours on the mumbles.can't talk from experience about the others but otherwise there's the village/dragon hotels in swansea town and the tower(out of town).if you're near cydweli pembrey country park is good for an afternoon (beach/tobogganing/playgrounds/biking)
