help, need a day out.

right, we decided we need a day out, havent had a proper one for a long time. so we thought no better time than tomorrow for our youngests third birthday. please has anyone got any ideas, of fun fair type places or theme parks that wont be to busy, or to expensive. or even if you know of cheapish late deal holidays in the uk, all ideas are welcome. thanks peeps.

in bedfordshire, we would travel if it was for a holiday, but for a day out and hour and a half to two hours max.
