Does anyone know Marlow?

Thinking of taking dd there for a few hours today by train.

Never been before. I want to go to the muesuem as they having a 'create your own' tent.

I also want to go along the river and go to a playarea which would ok for my dd (shes 2)

Any advice gratefully recieved

Does anyone know how far the train station is from the museum, river, play areas?

I just looked online (google maps) and it looks not even a kilometre from the station to the river. I don't know the play areas in Marlow, only the shops and high street which is lovely. (MIL lives nearby in Cookham)

Oh dear, only just read this and live very close to Marlow!

The train station is within walking distance of the high street and river. Mind you, it gets very busy at the weekend.

Did you go in the end?
