Egypt, hot enough in February?

We are thinking of Egypt for Feb half term next year, but don't want to spend lots of money and find its not quite hot enough? Has anyone been in Feb?

Jan-Feb may be cool if you are thinking of sunbathing, and it gets dark earlier, so not great for sightseeing either. But perhaps end Feb could be OK (not sure when half term is).
