Going camping there next week and worried about the weather. In case we can't hit the beach is there a nice pool near by, one with flumes, etc. We're staying at River Dart country park. Thanks.

The River Dart Country park is quite a way from any beaches, but it depends on how far you wish to journey.

There is a waterpark at Paigntonnear Torquay,
here
but again it's quite far, as the crow flies.

A great place for fun is Woodlands near Dartmouth, which caters for all weathers. No swimming there tho.

That waterpark looks mainly outdoors? I was thinking of an indoor one. Thanks though.

Most towns are small, and have normal type pools, ie at dartmouth, kingsbridge ivybridge.

Plymouth has an indoor fun pool too with a wave machine type thing!!

tis very rural, round here!!!

oh there's a normal type pool in Totnes, that's probably closer to where you are staying.

It certainly looks like everything is a long way from the campsite. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a sunny week.
