We have stayed at a place in Jamaica called FDR www.fdrholidays.com. It was excellent. It is a small resort, which is all inclusive and provides you with a Vacation Nanny. Basically, she takes care of your suite and your child. She will work with you to determine when she looks after your child and when you do. You have to during her lunch break and when she is cleaning your room, and beyond that, she will bring the child to you when you ask. This is a great arrangement when you are basically happy to look after your child but want to have the occasional break to do your own thing such as exercise, swimming, snokling or an excursion.

We always used sunsail. Their childcare is excellent. All the babies and littlies go out on the water every day. They have specialist baby lifejackets etc and one to one care. Safety is paramount and nobody but nobody is allowed on the water without a lifejacket.

Hoghly recomended. Ds now 13yo has loved every trip we have had with them since he was just that old.

Sunsail have shut their Antigua location! However Carlisle Bay on Antigua are supposed to be v. good, childcare is provided by a Powder Byrne subsidiary i think.
