Midhurst, West Sussex - anywhere here / nearby you can recommend with a toddler?

...title says it all really. Off to Midhurst for a couple of days and was wondering if anyone can recommend places to visit with DD 2.5 (and DS 3mth!) please? They don't have to be specifically for kids, just not mind a toddler running around. Is the Weald and Downland Museum good? TIA

W and D is a bit dull tbh. Amberly Chalk Pits Museum is a bit more compact and interactive. Arundel is nice for a day out, there is a wildfowl reserve and castle as well as scenic town. Chichester and maybe the coast to watch the boats and have an ice cream. Maybe Watercress Line

To be fair it is a long while since we went and more recently it didn't appeal to a bunch of French 10-11yr olds who did an exchange(mind you they had hoped to go to Legoland instead !). You really have to be there on a day when they have lots of action to get the most out of it .

Thanks will have a look at all those suggestions
