Has anyone been?

I have heard it's good for little ones but I'm after some real people's experiences before we traipse there.

was a regular haunt when I was little and have taken my children when visiting the folks.

try mumsnet - reading to get a better response.

How about heading to the Look Out in Bracknell. My DCS love the science exhibition and the play areas. You only pay for the science bit if you want to go in there.

It's a bit rubbish tbh. The pool will be open now it's summer hols but apart from that there's hardly anything there. A couple of playground things, a cafe and a lake that you can only half walk round. And you have to pay parking.

They used to have a ceramic painting bit in the cafe but that's closed down.

Am I selling it to you?!

Wellington Country Park is much much better but you have to pay per person to get in.

We didn't go there in the end and went to Beale Park (again). The kids always seem to have a good time there but I hate paying all that money for what is essentially a large park. Hey ho.
