I'm looking to buy a sat nav (never used one before) but I want one with lane assist for about £70 - does anyone know of one?

Anyone use the RAC300

Take a look at the Navman "S" series, I paid about that for DH's - called the S30. Apparently that's being replaced by the s30 3-d which obviously enough gives you a three dimensional option....
while you are about it, take a look here

having said that - mine does tell you which lane to use when motorways split / you are turning at a junction / at a fork in the road. I suppose it depends how much you want, personally I wouldn't make it a priority but I don't drive in large cities etc.
