That's a fantastic offer. We have a few places in mind for over New Year and just checked out Rome and it would be £600 for 2 adults and 3 children!!!!! Top of the list is New York but Rome is second. I think I'll go and wake up DH to tell him. I worry about long-term plans in case 1) airlines go bust, 2) we get swine flu close to the time.

Have a great time. DH is v interested and I think we'll get some for Rome. (Unless we can find a really good offer to New York with Alitalia.)

So we're going to Rome for New Year. It was our second choice after New York but very quickly became first choice with this offer. (£514 for 5 of us, scheduled flights, decent times.) Thanks again, CD, and have a great time.
