can anyone tell me about the weather in provence end of august beginning of september

We are just back from a week near Draguignan, have taken one look at the weather and are thinking of going back - does anyone know what the weather would be like in the last week of august, beginning september, as I would really hate to haul us all down there to look at more rain!

Not sure if this helps but we're going to the Languedoc region at the same time and are expecting the weather to be hot and sunny.

It should be slightly cooler than in July but still mid-high 20s. It could be slightly windier than in July as well.
Can't give any advice about rain - there shouldn't be much but it could pour down at any time!!

Thanks - I'm expecting mid 20's and I know that it rains a lot more in September than August, but I'm hoping it can't ne as much as here!
