Short Channel Crossings - which route ?

Need to book a crossing for a few weeks time, 10 day trip. Which route ? Dover- Calais, Dover-Boulogne, Tunnel (doesn't make much odds to drive either side) Any recommendations as to operator and deals please ?

No idea about deals I'm afraid but for ferries I think P&O are far better than Sea France. However, given the choice I'd always use the tunnel.

In the past when I've checked I've found that some of the websites that advertise cheap crossings are a lot more expensive than booking direct with the ferry or tunnel.

Ooh, no, P and O are horrible. Would always go Sea France. Think their prices and frequency much the same.

If you have any Tesco Clubcard vouchers you can use those on Eurotunnel at 4 for 1 (& Eurotunnel is wonderful)

Alternatively LD Transmanche ferries have different routes & are supposed to be cheapest
