N Wales with a baby - days out and bike rides

In a last ditch attempt to pretend that we are still hip, young, gnarly, outdoorsy things, DH and I are going on hols to N Wales with DS (10 months), his baby backpack and his bike trailer.

We are staying in a cottage near Llanberris where we have stayed many times before as a base for mountain biking, hill walking, rock climbing etc.

We are planing (weather permitting) on some low level walking and gentle bike rides with trailer.

When the weather doesn't permit, where else can we go with him? Any recommendations for soft play centres, swimming pools etc.

Also, we are vetrans of the Marin Trial and Penmachno - any recommendations for gentler bike rides suitable for trailers? We are probably a bot far to get to Coed-y-Brennin for the day for DS.

there are soft play areas in llanberis itself(y den)and nearby caernarfon (hwylfan/fun factory)and there is one in the afon conwy pub on the a55 black cat roundabout near llandudno jctn (see brewers fayre website) which is about 30 mins drive.
for cycling there's a good section in the local council website(gwynedd council)about cycle routes of which there are a good few including reclaimed rural railways.
for walking try parking in porthmadog and walking through the harbour, over to borth y gest and along the glaslyn estuary.there are a lot of nice paths/routes starting in portmeirion(walking maps available on site)and around the ffestiniog railway station in tanybwlch (try to see the lakes at llyn mair and llyn y garnedd)
