We are looking to go to Colchester zoo in August but even if you book on line, it is still £15.20 per adult. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get more money off?

My friend used her Tesco vouchers, dont know how but we managed 3 adults and 6 kids for free....

Be wary, its a great day - but the eating areas are not that great, and always next to big play things to the kids wouldnt actually sit and eat!

We didnt find any grassy places to eat our picnic.

Also, very narrow passages between cages to be mindful if taking a push chair, but do take one if your DC is small, as the place is HUGE

There is no green areas other than by entrance but lots of tables dotted around.

Never really found much problems getting between spaces with ds wheelchair but warning it is very hilly but my dc love it we have Gold cards .

Honestly the best value if you want to eat is actually the inn at the zoo works out cheaper than the stalls/burger places .Normally reckon on 20 pound for 2 adults and 2 kids meals plus drinks and couple od doughnuts but it does get very busy around lunch time

Does anyone know if there are any current discounts available for admission to Colchster Zoo. We have 3 kids so will cost us around £60 to get in at the ordinary rate.

Thanks
