We're repeating last's year drive to Italy through Fance (thanks for that advice!). Last year we stopped at le touquet in early september but it was too cold to swim then.
This year we are stopping by in August and were thinking of boulogne sur mer, can you actually swim at the beach or is there any other beach on eastern side you can swim (or is too cold all the time and you need to rub on fat like channel swimmers?)
