Am thinking of a quick trip to IOW to satisfy my nostalgia for childhood hols there (may be a mistake!) Want to find a nice place to stay for a night or two with my mum and 3 year old son. Tourist Board website is awful and everything looks tacky. It cannot be that the whole island is stuck in a 1970s time warp, surely?
