Can any one recommend one that it suitable for toddlers, but ideally has some half decent food / pleasant ambience as well?? We need a Sunday lunch venue.

I have been to The Onslow Arms at Clandon a number of times and it is lovely. We have always been with several other families and our kids have played in the courtyard garden.

If they do get restless, there is a playground across the road, beside the village hall.

The Jolly Farmer at worplesden is really nice. Fab food andf a decent sized garden.
We were there yesterday and a two year old was having their birthday party.
The food is good enough that it will be very busy on a sunday so arrive early
