hello sarah - are you based in hull? (seems strange place to go to for your holiday, don't shoot me down in flames!) we're just down the road from hull but I'm new to the area and don't know many places at all so I hope someone else has ideas for you. Hessle Country Park is nice for a run round and has a great pub by the river to finish up in too. The museums in Hull are pretty good - there's a transport museum where little ones can ride on a horse and carriage and get on and off the buses. If I think of other places we've been to, I'll let you know.

I have a book called 1001 days out with your kids and it splits into various regions. hang on and I'll have a look.

The Deep - fishes and things in Hull

North Yorkshire Moors Railway Pickering - Grosmont nr Whitby

Hull museum of transport

Hull maritime museum

Hands on history - Hull

Thats all thats in my book - nothing really to entertain a 15 month old.

I live in Hull - and honestly nothing springs to mind other than the Little Monkeys type play places. We usually hot foot it out of town if we have the chance.

Thanks for the info darling bud. No Morroco, I'm not going to Hull for my hols!; I live West of Hull but my dh is not off for Whit week - just me and dd. So I don't fancy driving miles. Will try The Deep...although I think she's already been with her child minder; she gets about more than I do!

bump.
I was searching for ideas on days out in the Beverley area and haven't found much. Does anyone have a favourite park in Hull? I've been to East Park which was good but none of the others.
