Recommendation for resort on/near Algarve

Hi

Can anyone help?

Am thinking about a week in Portugal for September. Will probably do Easy Jet to Faro & find an apartment to rent privately.

Any recommendations for a good resort for me, DH & DS aged 2? Just want a nice beach and some good restaurants really and for it to be "pretty".

We love Lagos but have older children so can't really comment for a little one.

Agree.. we love Lagos. Very pretty and loads of lovely restaurants.

We rented an apartment privately on holidaylettings.co.uk.. on the Vilabranca complex. It was lovely, had two pools and a bar/restaurant. No entertainment on site though, but I like peaceful evenings!! We put the kids to bed and sat out on the balcony.

Have been to Lagos four times now. We always hire a car and travel to different resorts but always choose to stay in Lagos.
