journey to caribbean with 2 month old

hi has anyone travelled long haul with a 2month old? i need advice on what to expect,he's generally quiet but unsure what can set him off seeing i will be hundreds off feet off ground!and also should i be concerned about him contracting any viruses whilst on board?

Travelled with my three week daughter from US to UK. At that age they are probably the easiest age to travel with, apart from all of the stuff you need. But just keep hands clean use lots of anti-bac hand wash and have wipes, wipes and more wipes. Extra set of clothes for baby and you in case of throw up and spills. Ask airline for basinett as early as possible and keep calling to check you still have it. Also feed while taking off and landing as it helps with ears and have a dummy handy.
