PARIS - what to do with 11yo and 9yo DDs that doesn't cost a fortune?

I'm taking the girls to Paris for 2 days next week but I don't have a big entertainment budget.

Any ideas of things to see and do that are cheap or free?

You can hire bikes cheaply and have a ride around.

the Tulieries or Jardins de Luxembourg are nice if the weather is fine, they often have street entertainment outside the Pompidou Centre which is free. Churches are free if they're into that kind of thing, there's a nice swimming pool in Les Halles, you can hire bikes and boats in Vincennes fairly cheaply and it's safe to cycle as no cars.
