Hotels in/near Disneyland Paris?

Can anyone recommend a hotel to stay in or near to disneyland paris? We are hoping to take our 5yr old dd for a short break over the Summer holidays. I am finding the information on the internet mind boggling and hotel reviews seem very mixed. Any comments or recommendations will be gratefully received.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn last year with DT's. It was very reasonable and had circus themed rooms. Excellent value and just 5 mins on free shuttle bus to the disney village.

We went to the cheapest hotel actually in Disney - Santa Fe. It was great. Glad we hadn't paid more for dearer hotels - you don't spend long in them and would probably be too tired to go swimming if there was a pool!

One of the highlights was the peaceful lakeside walk at the start and end of busy theme-parking days. Happy holiday!
