menorca - air con???

We have hired a villa in menorca in august without air con. Am now getting nervous that we wil melt! Can any one advise where we culd get portable air conditioning units in menorca??/

I used to work in Menorca and we had villa reps who would hire out fans. If you have a rep they should be able to do this or point you in the right direction. Most of the villas are built for the heat anyway and so tend to be nice and cool inside. I lived in a villa with no air con for the whole summer and it was ok. If it is too hot you can probably hire a portable air con in Mahon at an electrical shop.

thanks osaraf. My rep has told me they can't hire air con for me. Hence my panic. I will check out the shop in mahon. Is it easy to find?!

I have never had air con in a villa and we have been in 45 degrees in them
is it an old house?
They are usually built to be cool in places like that
