We're flying on Thursday from H'row, the flights from Belfast (with Continental) to NYC are rubbish,. We flew to Florida and there was only video screens in the aisle and the films weren't appropriate for children (King Kong ffs), and 1 crappy meal. We had to pay for everything including headphones to watch the films. What's is Virgin like? Do you get food and drinks as well?
TIA

You will get a choc ice to have whilst watching the afternoon movie

Also, a lot of their planes have interactive games on the seat backs aswell. You can challenge other people on flight to games such as hangman, etc

We flew with virgin to NYC last year and it was fab, free drinks, tv's on the back of the seat with loads of choice, playstation type games.

We flew from Heathrow to BYC in May and it was great. The seat back TVs are controlled independently and you can chose which films (from about 60) as and when, rather than only starting at set times. There are flms and TV programmes suitable for children. DD is 7y and didn't move from her seat for 7.5 hours, lol!

Food was fine too.
